Contracts Manager, Exeter

Salary: circa £55-£65k per annum plus car allowance, plus benefits

Role: Small Works Contracts Manager required for a regional main contractor to oversee multiple small works projects up to £500k in value, managing £3-£4m in annual turnover. Projects include MOD, commercial, education, leisure, new build, refurbishment, fit outs, and maintenance projects. Reporting into a Director with full responsibility for the site teams and operational delivery, working alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Individual:

• Must be experienced in main contracting, FM, or maintenance contracts.
• Experience with contract values of £50k - £500k and running multiple projects concurrently, liaising with project dedicated QS and Site Managers.
• Responsible for the management of all on-site teams, ensuring the programme is on track.
• Responsible for preparing construction programmes and construction phase plans.
• Responsible for producing progress reports and representing the company at monthly project meetings.
• Supporting site supervisors with H&S and RAMS.
• Supporting the commercial team with procurement and programming.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 Apps and Microsoft Project.
• Will need to be able to get full security clearance.
• Must have a valid Black or White CSCS Card, SMSTS, and First Aid.
• Car driver as this is a roaming role between sites.
• Must live within the Exeter region or be commutable to Exeter.
