This is a *Manchester* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on *implementing complex solutions, ensuring compliance with SOX, GDPR/PII, and DMA, and mentoring junior engineers*.

Role Overview

Our client seeks a Software Developer to develop and maintain financial data systems using Java, Spring Boot, SQL Server, SSIS, AWS CDK, and TypeScript. The role involves implementing complex solutions, ensuring compliance with SOX, GDPR/PII, and DMA, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Node.js.

• Ensure code quality, security, and system reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

• Guide junior developers and foster team autonomy.

• Design scalable solutions and identify process improvements.

• Communicate technical solutions effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

• 6+ years in Java/Spring Boot Back End development.

• Strong experience with SQL Server & SSIS.

• Leadership and mentoring experience.

• Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD, Docker, and Git.

• Knowledge of SOX, GDPR/PII, DMA compliance (preferred).

• Excellent communication skills.
