Job title: Software Development Team Lead

Location: Scotstoun, Bristol - Filton, Portsmouth, Broad Oak, Cowes - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements as well as job sharing for this role - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Up to £60,000 dependent on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

• Lead and manage a small, dedicated team of software developers, setting clear goals and objectives.
• Promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
• Regular stakeholder engagement, setting priorities and ensuring projects are delivered to plan.
• Actively participating in software development from planning, design, through to delivery into programmes.
• Provide coaching and identify opportunities within the team for learning to our apprentices coming in through our BAE Systems apprentice scheme.

Your skills and experiences:

• Experience leading and managing a team of Software Developers
• Proven experience working with Software Programming Languages (Java or C#) and object-oriented analysis and design experience and/or certification
• Understanding of software development methodologies
• PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcentre experience
