Solution Architect

On behalf of National Savings & Investments, we are looking for a Solution Architect (Inside IR35) for a 12 Month contract based Hybrid in London, Blackpool, Glasgow or Durham.

We are embarking on a significant transformation programme and are seeking four Solution Architects to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in driving our architectural vision and ensuring successful delivery across multiple complex environments.

You will play a key role in a major transformation programme, moving from a private cloud environment to a hybrid mix of AWS, Azure (MS Fabric), and various SaaS solutions. You will be working in an outsourced environment, ensuring seamless integration between multiple suppliers and stakeholders.

As a Solution Architect, your main responsibilities will be to:
. Lead architectural strategy in a large-scale transformation programme with multiple transition states and co-existence strategies.
. Work closely with stakeholders to understand drivers and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
. Provide architectural guidance across a complex technology landscape, including AWS, Azure (MS Fabric), and SaaS solutions.
. Ensure alignment and seamless delivery in a multi-supplier outsourced environment.
. Guide best practices in solution architecture, governance, and architectural methodologies (TOGAF-based framework).

Essential:
. Experience in large-scale transformation programmes or complex environments with multiple transition states.
. Background in Financial Services or the Public Sector to understand operational constraints (highly desirable).
. Proven experience managing and integrating multiple suppliers in an outsourced delivery model.
. Experience working in hybrid cloud environments, transitioning from private cloud to AWS, Azure (MS Fabric), and SaaS solutions.
. Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology, focusing on strategic solutions rather than deep technical specialisms.
. Experience with TOGAF-based architecture frameworks.
