Solution Architect for Office 365 (freelance)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect for Office 365 to join a dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, particularly SharePoint, PowerBI, Power Apps, and Office 365, with a focus on governance, architecture, and the implementation of best practices. This role is crucial for optimizing and advancing the use of these tools within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement an architectural solution for O365 components tailored to end-user needs, adhering to ISO 27001 and NIS2 standards.
• Establish governance for various O365 components, including SharePoint and PowerBI, based on Microsoft best practices.
• Create and manage a Microsoft technology center of excellence to support and improve the use of O365 tools.
• Provide support for the development and implementation of SharePoint, PowerBI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Oversee the migration of legacy SharePoint systems to the new architecture.
• Implement document retention management, data governance, and compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Manage O365 initiatives and ensure alignment with ongoing projects.

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in Office 365, SharePoint, PowerBI, and Power Apps.
• Extensive experience in setting up governance and functional architecture for O365.
• Solid background in establishing a Microsoft technology center of excellence.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIS2 compliance standards.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with full professional proficiency in English.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric and Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Availability for on-site work 3 days per week (non-consecutive) in Brussels.
• Proven ability to work within a structured project management framework, focusing on continuous service and project continuity.
