The project:

Our client in the banking sector is looking for a Solution Designer/Project Lead for Digital Channels to join their team.

Tasks:

• You design and implement solutions/products end2end impacting multiple transversal domains. You show extensive technical and coaching skills. You handle multiple projects of various size and scope.
• You master the whole technology stack of the system.
• You have a high level transversal view on the technical and functional architecture and infrastructure landscape.
• You research new technology trends, you identify opportunities and share your insights within the technology organisation.
• You know and challenge engineering standards, principles, guidelines and frameworks (performance, security, re-usability, scalability, sustainability, devsecops)
• You are designing, coding and testing complex cross domain solutions/products end2end in a context rich environment with many stakeholders.
• You evolve the architecture to support future requirements and defines its SLAs.
• You foresee problems instead of solving them. You set up monitoring such as performance, resource usage, security.
• You exhibit excellent judgment regarding decisions across many technology aspects of the project.
• You reduce complexity of projects/services/processes in order to get more done with less work.
• You advise business regarding technical feasibility of new ideas.
• You ensure that documentation/knowledge transfer is in place.
• You communicate with non-technical team members, recognize key risks and manage dependencies.
• You are available in case of incidents and you do permanence-on-duty if needed.
• You functionally lead team members providing effective feedback, coordinating activities and moderating discussions.
• You act as a servant leader and coach.
• You decide on work assignments, you are coaching associates and (senior)engineers and you have a clear view of team priorities.
• You adjust the team processes, you listen to feedback and you guide the team through the changes.
• You reflect on and improve behaviour constantly.
• You are aware of strategic needs and priorities.
• You have an impact on the whole technology organization within a product area.
• You act as technical lead in transversal projects.
• You act as ambassador for the technology department.
