Summary

NG Bailey are proud to be involved in the Hinkley Point C project based in Bridgwater, Somerset. This is the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing zero-carbon electricity for around six million homes. NG Bailey, the UK's leading independent engineering and services business, are proud to be part of the MEH Alliance, a joint venture to deliver the Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC installation for the project.

As part of recent growth on this project, we have a new vacancy for a Space Management Project Engineer to join us based in Bridgwater.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

• Supporting the Site Wide Leads to deliver the scope
• HOC / TAC tracker for management of space
• Layout plans and scope requirements for allocated space
• Development of Method Statements
• Review of construction documentation
• Procurement ordering and tracking
• Chair or support reviews
• Weekly consolidated construction reports
• Coordination of project photography and pictorial progress report

What we're looking for:

• A relevant degree or HNC/above in a relevant discipline (Mechanical or Electrical) and/or substantial experience as a Project Engineer or similar role on large scale construction projects.
• AutoCAD and Navis Works knowledge (desirable).
• Experience in nuclear or other highly regulated sectors (preferred).
• Professional accreditation (preferred).
• Knowledge of NEC ECC Contract (desirable).
