An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry to join our esteemed private client's dynamic inpatient team in Liverpool, Merseyside. This locum position is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract, offering competitive rates.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high-quality psychiatric care to adult patients.
2. Ensure cover for the day-to-day running of the ward.
3. Chair Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings.
4. Provide Approved Clinician (AC) cover for Mental Health Act (MHA) work.
5. Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
6. Manage complex cases and offer specialist advice.
7. Conduct ward rounds and manage ward jobs.
8. Review patient cases and provide feedback.
9. Attend relevant patient meetings when necessary.
10. Collaborate with the Early Intervention Team to provide integrated care for patients with early signs of mental health issues.
11. Engage with local and national networks to elevate the profile of our centre and ensure all therapeutic approaches are evidence-based and effective.

Qualifications and Experience:

• MRCPsych
• Full GMC registration with a license to practice
• Completion of Specialty Training (CCT) in Psychiatry
• Experience in Adult Psychiatry
• Approved Clinician (AC) status and Section 12 MHA approval are essential
• Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
