We are looking for a Junior - Mid level DBA for a really exciting opportunity with a consultancy who really values their employees and their personal and professional development. You will be working with their various clients on Database Administration, meaning that there will be lots of variety and autonomy in the role, and you'll be working on both internal and external projects.

You must have at least 1 year experience working within a DBA role, within an SQL environment, you'll have the opportunity to gain exposure in a wide range of skills such as Azure SQL, RDS for SQL Server, T-SQL, PowerShell, disaster recovery, SQL health-checks and reporting. We do not need someone to have experience in all of these areas, but you must be motivated to upskill and learn in this role.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter who enjoys both independent work and team collaboration. You'll have the autonomy to manage your workload and drive your own professional development. Responsibilities:

• Managing database access and permissions.
• Ensuring that databases meet users' requirements.
• Liaising with programmers, clients and other technical staff.
• Reviewing and managing database security, integrity and backup procedures.
• devising and implementing processes for resolving faults and data loss.
