Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About Us:

Our client is a leader in the manufacturing sector, who are currently undergoing a significant digital transformation and embarking on a huge migration project to Microsoft Azure. This project will redefine their IT infrastructure.

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help drive the success of their Azure migration project. You will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, availability, and performance of their cloud systems during and after the migration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with development and operations teams to build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure in Azure.
• Lead the Azure migration project by ensuring the smooth transition of applications and services to the cloud.
• Implement automation for repetitive tasks and streamline operations to improve efficiency.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), DevOps engineer, or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud services, including compute, networking, storage, and security features.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
• Proficient in automation and configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
