Job Description
Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced nurse to join our Allergy Nursing team. With appropriate training you will be required to work autonomously in the unit performing food/drug challenges, drug investigations, allergen immunotherapy as well as supporting multidisciplinary and nurse-led clinics. You will be actively involved in the smooth delivery of care and continued development of the Allergy service.

Main duties of the job
  • Performing food/drug challenges
  • Administration of allergen immunotherapy products
  • Skin prick tests
  • Venipuncture and cannulation
  • Assisting doctors in clinic
  • Complex medical calculations

  • First level registration - Registered Nurse
  • Evidence of working with students
Training and Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years at band 5 in relevant setting
