Store Design Manager

As a Store Designer, you will be an expert in retail design, able to support the business on the development of service design solutions, supporting on the use of space, finishes and the creation of omni-channel in store solutions within both Clothing and Home & Food. Working alongside the Store Designer - Service Design Manager on the creation of new customer facing solutions and delivering the required updates in line with the business requirements. For this role, you will be required to be in the office two days a week as well as travelling to suppliers and stores.

What you'll do
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Create Service design solutions to support the business, supporting on the use of space, the development of new payment, C&C and omni-channel solutions for Clothing and Home & Food formats.
- Working alongside the Store Designer for Services to manage updates to Food and Clothing & Home guidance and feed both into the glide path & model process, while working closely with Customer Experience team and Store Planning.
- Production & maintenance of Service standards guides, within the glide path & model process. Production & maintenance of specialist standards guides (Payment for C&H and Food, Click & Collect, Fitting Room, Customer toilets, within the glide path and model process).
- Finishes and materials expert, supporting the Planners, Architects, site teams and Asset Care with material questions.
- Sourcing and value engineering of both new and existing materials and maintenance of material index across standards guides.
- Manage outward communication of updates to specification and design to ensure all key stakeholders are informed.
Who you are

- Relevant design qualification or experience.
- Some construction experience essential.
- Proven project management skill.
- Excellent organisation skills.
