About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated graduates to join our Procurement team as a Strategic Sourcing Specialist. This is a great starter role/training opportunity for anyone interested in being at the front line of clinical research, to get first-hand look at what it takes to build and understand a clinical trial protocol and to gain an understanding of the clinical trial process from start to finish. This is an exciting opportunity to gain invaluable experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting where you will play a key role in supporting clinical trials, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and data integrity.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Ensures Procurement policies and processes are followed
  • Executes the vendor selection processes in support of RFIs for Clinical Operations
  • Assists in locating and qualifying strategic partnership vendors from agreed target categories and locations
  • Sources products and services as directed by management
  • Updates Third Party information within the corporate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application
  • Participates in corporate initiatives and actions that ensure the continued success of the company
  • Other activities as designated

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in a business management, scientific or clinical operations field
  • 0 - 2 years of related experience (business degree/field)
  • Prior experience using computerized information systems preferred
  • Office-based experience is encouraged but not required
  • Knowledge of web-based communication tools for conferences is helpful
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
  • Excellent team player, collaborative
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates practical problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates an ability to work with different cultures
  • Has a passion for success, combining excellent people and analytical skills
  • Has a general understanding of business operations and management
  • High level of expertise in the use of MS-Office software, especially Excel
  • Ability to quickly develop proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications
