Summary:

This role reports to the Chief Client Officer and forms part of the senior leadership team. Although the role has no direct reports, it is a significant role that works across the whole division to bring direction and cohesion during a time of significant change. The role holder will act as a delegate for the CCO in Committee meetings.

This is a senior specialist leadership role responsible for the development and execution of individual Client, Communications and Marketing (CCM) strategies, with a specific focus on Marcomms transformation initiatives. This role will focus on translating CCO vision into industry best practice Marcomms strategies - building, executing and acting as a strategic advisor to multiple functions. The role will continue to deliver operational efficiency through industry-informed transformation initiatives, centralising services, and fostering team development.

What you'll be doing:
  • Lead the development and execution of strategy for the marketing and communications division.
  • Drive Marcomms transformation, introducing automation and process improvements.
  • Establish a centre of excellence to centralise services and strengthen capability.
  • Build frameworks for customer data, KPIs, and financial planning to inform strategy and track progress.
  • Provide strategic leadership across cross-functional teams and influence at the most senior levels.
  • Act as delegate for the Chief Client Officer in key governance forums.
  • Work across the business to integrate competitive intelligence and market insights.
Who We Are Looking For

We're looking for a strategic, senior level leader with deep experience in marketing and communications within a large, regulated financial services environment. You'll be comfortable operating across all levels of the organisation including the C suite and excel at driving change, aligning stakeholders, and building high performing, future focused teams. You're commercially astute, outcomes driven, and capable of navigating ambiguity with confidence and clarity.

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Significant experience in marketing and communications strategy within financial services.
  • Proven ability to deliver large-scale transformation and process improvement programmes.
  • Expertise in digital tools, automation, workflow optimisation, and customer data strategy.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments and operational governance.
  • Highly effective communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills - particularly with senior leaders and C-suite.
  • A pragmatic, solutions focused mindset with strong commercial awareness.
  • Experience building KPIs, financial models, and L&D programmes to support strategic goals.
