Our prestigious long-standing client, a UK-wide multidisciplinary consultancy renowned for its impressive and profitable growth trajectory, is looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer in Manchester to work as a Regional Manager. The Structural Engineer will be rewarded with an excellent package including hybrid working, a nice and relaxed work environment, and a salary of up to £70,000.
The Structural Engineer will be client-facing and involved in the management of two Senior Engineers and a Structural Engineer, primarily working on a large framework contract as well as other works. The Chartered Structural Engineer will be chartered either by ICE or IStructE. This position provides a perfect opportunity for the successful candidate to show their ambition, drive, and passion for customer service.
Structural Engineering Regional Manager Job Overview- Manage the day-to-day running of the Regional Team, giving technical training and guidance, customer care principles, and market awareness to support the Technical Director.

- Strategic Oversight and Reporting: Provide insightful monthly reports on workflow and team performance, contributing to the strategic management and growth of the region.
- Tackle High-Impact Projects: Utilize your expertise to oversee critical projects that require advanced knowledge, ensuring compliance with current standards and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate on Talent Management: Partner with HR to recruit top talent, conduct appraisals, and address HR matters, playing a key role in building and maintaining a high-performing team.
- Leverage your qualifications, such as Chartered Structural Engineer status, to fulfill technical responsibilities and uphold professional excellence.
- Drive Marketing Initiatives: Contribute to the company's marketing objectives by identifying opportunities, setting targets, and leading initiatives that enhance our market presence.
- MICE / MIStructE / FICE Qualified.
- Experience and extensive working knowledge of consulting engineering, surveying, architectural, and planning practices.
- Experience in negotiation, supervisory, and leadership roles.
- Enthusiastic and committed to leading a team to achieve company objectives.
- Experience in working to deadlines and within budgets on large-scale projects.
- Located within a commutable distance to Manchester.
