Structural Design Engineer

Location: Watford, minimum 3 days in office/on-site per week.

As a leading partnership consultancy, the rail team delivers multidisciplinary engineering solutions across the UK's rail infrastructure, specialising in civil and structural design. With a strong pipeline of projects, they offer excellent opportunities for engineers to develop their skills on high-profile rail schemes within a well-established, privately-owned consultancy. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on Network Rail/TFL/London Underground projects.

Requirements:

• Civil or Structural Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of two years of postgraduate experience, ideally within a design consultancy setting.
• Structural design experience in masonry, steel, or reinforced concrete.
• Familiarity with structural calculation software in TEDDS or Robot.
• IStructE or CEng chartered status essential for Principal position, working towards desired for Senior.
• Ambitious and desire to learn/progress in your career.
• Rail experience essential for Principal; for Senior/Engineer, rail experience is highly advantageous.
• Rail assurance experience advantageous.
• Principal must have bid/fee proposal experience.
