Structural Engineer

Our client, a well-established consultancy that specializes in the design and delivery of a variety of projects, mainly high-end residential and commercial projects, is seeking a Structural Engineer. The Structural Engineer would be working from the Warwick office full-time with hybrid working options and an extensive benefits package including profit share, healthcare, and many more.

The Structural Engineer will be working alongside a team of 2 in the Warwick office while having the support of 2 additional offices. The role involves working on a range of projects, and candidates must be willing to work hard and hit the ground running to accommodate the current workload. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience working as a Structural Engineer within a consultancy. My client would also consider a more Senior or Chartered Structural Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Completion of beam & column calculations
• Structural analysis
• Sketching for visualizations
• Make drawings, specifications, and computer models of structures for building contractors
• Liaise with professionals to agree on safe designs that fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction
• Develop construction plans
• Ensure team members understand tasks and timescales before starting

Qualifications:

• MSc/MEng qualified in a relevant Civil/Structural Engineering discipline
• Graduate Member of the ICE or IStructE working towards chartered status
• Minimum of 4 years' experience
• Experience with a mix of projects
• Software experience - AutoCAD
• Revit is advantageous
