This is an exciting contract opportunity to work with an innovative, forward-thinking team based in London, right at the heart of the energy transition.
If you're ready to tackle cutting-edge projects and bring your structural FEA expertise to one of the most dynamic areas of offshore wind, we'd love to hear from you.
What will I be doing?
- Lead the charge on Structural Analysis using industry-leading software like ABAQUS and ANSYS, tackling stress analysis for offshore structures with precision.
- Dive deep into the details, applying your expertise to ensure designs meet the highest standards - think DNV GL, API, AISC, EC, and Norsok.
- Work with the best tools, using company-standard software like SACS, STAAD, and GT-STRUDL to bring your structural designs to life.
- Review and approve steel structure drawings, making sure everything is spot-on and up to spec.
- Create clear, high-quality design reports and keep everything organized, while always sticking to the company's health, safety, and quality standards.

- You know your way around offshore wind regulations, codes, and standards, and can confidently apply them to keep projects running smoothly and by the book.
- Fatigue assessment? No problem. You're familiar with time domain, spectral, and deterministic methods, and can tackle tricky structural challenges using smart techniques like sub-modelling and influence matrices.
- You're comfortable with the tools of the trade - ABAQUS, ANSYS, SACS, STAAD, GT-STRUDL - and if you've got some Python or C++ under your belt, even better!
