This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Graduate Structural Engineer to join a successful, well-established Civil and Structural Design Consultancy based in the South Manchester office on a permanent basis. Working on a range of interesting and unique projects up to the value of £40 million across Residential, Commercial, Leisure, Educational and Healthcare sectors, you will work on projects from inception to completion. Our client is offering full and structured training towards Chartership under the guidance of a Principal Engineer, along with a competitive starting salary of up to £30,000 plus Pension, Healthcare and bonus incentives.

In order to be considered for this Structural Engineer role you will;

1. Have gained a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
2. Have a minimum of 2 years consultancy experience
3. Have previous experience designing using steel and concrete (masonry and timber being a benefit)
4. Have experience in the use of AutoCAD
5. Any previous experience in the use of TEDDS, Fastrak and/or Revit would be an advantage
6. Have strong communication skills both written and verbal
7. Work well as part of a team
8. Display a proactive, energetic approach to work

Working as a Structural Engineer you will;

1. Work on projects from inception through to completion
2. Generate designs and drawings using modern software
3. Complete site visits
4. Be part of client liaison meetings
