Structured Cabling Engineer

DCS Recruitment currently seeks an experienced data cable installer in Winchester on behalf of a national structured cabling contractor.

Contract date: Monday 24th March.

Duration: 3-4 day shifts initially expected.

Start time: 8am.

The work includes installation (pulling to point and through containment) of data cabling within a commercial environment. The scope of work would be suitable for an experienced data cabling engineer or electrical improver who has installed data cables.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a valid ECS/Equivalent structured cabling/comms industry related card or CSCS
• Have a minimum of 2 years comms industry experience
• Be able to provide relevant work references and proof of right to work in the UK (ID) prior to start
• Have their own PPE and hand tools including termination kit (cutters as a minimum)
