About the Department

The Communications, Marketing and Recruitment (CMR) department plays a central role in telling the Goldsmiths story to our key audiences. The department covers internal communications, media relations, strategic communications, brand and design, digital (website, video and social media), marketing, business partnering, and UK and International recruitment. Colleagues are encouraged to be ambitious, committed to the learning and development of themselves and others, keen to work across conventional boundaries, and driven by the desire to play their part in the delivery of an excellent student, colleague and external audience experience.

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Marketing and Recruitment Business Partner to support academic faculties and schools with their marketing and recruitment activities. Working closely with academic leads and teams within Communications, Marketing and Recruitment (CMR), you will deliver impactful campaigns and initiatives aligned with the university's student recruitment goals.

You will develop marketing plans that complement central student recruitment plans managed by the wider teams in CMR, coordinate recruitment activity, and support events, including open days and fairs. Collaborating with teams across CMR, you will create engaging content, manage digital updates, and deliver targeted campaigns to support undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment, conversion, and international promotion.

The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing and recruitment, preferably in higher education. You will be skilled at building relationships, managing multiple projects, and translating requirements into actionable plans. Strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail are essential.

The role is suited to someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys engaging with stakeholders to deliver high-impact campaigns.

Benefits

We have generous benefits - an agile working environment, 28 days' annual leave plus 6 paid closure days (4 at Christmas and 2 at Easter) plus all Bank Holidays, great transport links, a defined benefit pension scheme, support for professional development and a broad range of wellbeing initiatives such as staff choir, running club and creative writing classes.
