What does a Studio Artist do at Hogarth?As a Studio Artist at Hogarth, you'll be a vital part of our creative production process, crafting high-quality visuals for renowned global brands. You'll work on diverse projects, from print to digital, ensuring brand consistency and technical excellence across all deliverables. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to hone your skills and contribute to impactful campaigns in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Create, adapt and localise print and digital artwork files for various languages and markets using Adobe Creative Suite software, ensuring accurate formatting and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Retouch images, optimise assets for different media (print, web, etc.), and maintain visual consistency across all deliverables. Use Photoshop techniques such as Smart Objects, Layer Styles, and Adjustment Layers.
- Follow established graphic production processes, maintaining consistency in areas like font usage, colour profiles, file naming, and asset archiving. Structure files for efficient production and localisation workflows.
- Review webpages, HTML emails, and other deliverables with a keen eye for detail, ensuring flawless graphics, layouts, and adherence to quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with project management, print production, and other teams to ensure smooth project execution, file handoffs, and achievement of project goals. Track and manage assets using version control systems.
- Receive localisation briefs and be able to convert an existing Photoshop asset into a specific language while maintaining the original level of quality and detail.
- Track and check assets using a version control system and ensure and manage the consistency of assets organised on the server.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop.
- Understanding of graphic design principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of image optimisation and production techniques for various media.
- Ability to work with HTML and CSS.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- A passion for visual communication and a desire to learn and grow.
- Experience with Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, and Git is a plus.
- Candidate must be able to work onsite with the client full time, up to 10 hours per day, 6 days per week, potentially 3 times per year.
