Subcontract Senior Buyer - Leading Construction Contractor - Central London - NEC Contracts - £45k - £75k + Package

Rapidly growing construction contractor seeks 2 experienced construction procurement experts to join their team. This position will work on major civils & infrastructure projects.

As a Senior Buyer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Manage major civil engineering & infrastructure projects across the end-to-end procurement process.
2. Deliver implementation of post-contract management activities across an array of building services & construction programs.
3. Collaborate and build relationships across the supply chain, operating with a strategic long-term view to ensure effective delivery of projects and contracts in line with wider business strategies.
4. Utilities market engagement to develop new commercial models and provide innovative practices, leading the implementation of these into procurement programs.
5. Manage supplier issues by looking at continuous improvement objectives whilst monitoring regulatory matters.

Required skillset:

1. Strong procurement experience working on major construction projects.
2. Significant experience utilising NEC/JCT contract models, working on sub-contracts.
3. Excellent stakeholder management expertise within a matrix environment.
