Support Engineer (Windows/Devices)

* Support Engineer - Initial 12 Month Contract - Hybrid in Braunschweig - Leading Organisation.*

RED is collaborating with a prominent global client to onboard a Windows Support Engineer for an initial twelve-month contract. In this role you will be responsible for setting up and configuring client devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals and more.

Role requirements:

• Proficient in setting up and configuring client devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, to align with organizational standards and user needs.
• Experienced in installing and updating software applications on client devices, ensuring optimal compatibility and security.
• Skilled in providing technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
• Capable of educating end-users on best practices for device and software usage to enhance productivity and reduce support requests.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of device and OS management, application packaging, and distribution.
• Experience with hardware life cycle management and onsite support services.
• Experience with asset management tools and software.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar
• Strong German Speaker
