Job Description

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations - from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Annapurna Labs is a semiconductor company established by semiconductor industry veterans and is now part of Amazon Web Services. We develop leading edge products, manufactured with cutting edge technologies.
One of Annapurna Labs product lines is the AWS Nitro SoC - a custom system-on-a-chip that delivers high performance virtualization, security, scalability and hardware acceleration capabilities optimized for AWS cloud infrastructure and services. It helps power the latest EC2 instance types from AWS.

Key job responsibilities
The Nitro core software team develops solutions for the Nitro System-on-Chip (SoC). As a part of our team, you will design and implement automation testing solutions for Nitro core software. You will be part of the quality assurance processes for Nitro embedded systems and gain experience in software testing methodologies. Your role includes developing test scripts, cases, and documentation, as well as participating in debugging and troubleshooting activities. You will work directly with Nitro core software teams, participate in debugging and troubleshooting activities under expert guidance. This role offers hands-on experience in testing engineering of embedded systems, allowing you to apply academic knowledge to practical projects. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain industry experience, enhance technical skills, and build a foundation for a career in embedded systems software development and testing.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Computer Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/Computer Science student
- Hands-on coding experience with at least one programming language: C, C++, Python
- Available for 2.5 to 3 work days per week

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge and practical experience in Linux
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline processes and experience with testing automation frameworks
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and their integration with CI/CD workflows is beneficial
- Team player, excellent at multitasking and self-learning
