The System Engineering Lead will be part of JLR's multi-disciplinary systems engineering team, which are responsible for the functional definition of Driver Information functionality for current and future vehicle architectures across all of JLR's vehicle platforms and brands, both "On-Board" the vehicle and Off-Board in Cloud environments.

You will be leading the team responsible for the generation and maintenance of the systems engineering requirements in the Traceable Requirements Management system (TRM) and model-based engineering tools (Catia Magic Systems) and ensure that requirements meet the required quality standards for content and traceability.

Responsibilities include ensuring the content is properly specified, the supplier delivers against this specification and that the delivered system is fully verified for inclusion on a vehicle program meeting the programme requirements for quality, cost and time. Here's what to expect:

• Responsible for delivering the system architecture/ sub-system/system/feature or software being developed to meet the business requirements on time with appropriate quality and at the right cost.
• Responsible for writing test cases, and system engineering architecture aligning with V-Cycle and ASPICE.
• Support the planning, co-ordination, delivery and reporting of requirements to support the Cycle Plan programmes, using Product Creation Delivery System (PCDS) principles.
• Work towards the Domain performance and facilitate or escalate cross module / cross Domain problem resolution on all programme aspects of content delivery, including virtual build, physical build and launch support.

• Proven technical knowledge related to Automotive Electrical Systems and Architecture.
• Strong technical experience and understanding of V-Cycle and ASPICE as well as previous successful projects working in MBSE.
• Experience of system definition, system architecture development, requirements specification, design/performance modelling, systems integration, system assessment and acceptance.
• Experience of developing technical requirements specifications and associated test plans, and test cases as well as the ability to decompose logical requirements into system/subsystem requirements.
• Experience of planning, co-ordination, delivery and reporting of requirements to support the Cycle Plan programmes using Product Creation Delivery System (PCDS) principles, proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate at all levels.
