Systems Accountant

Your new company
Our client is seeking a skilled professional with a strong understanding of finance functions and systems mapping.
Your new role
You will be familiar with general ledger systems, as the role requires someone who comprehends the general ledger, as you will be responsible for overseeing a team that posts payments of income and expenditure. You will support the operations team covering accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and banking, with end-to-end systems mapping and process flow. Additionally, you will assist IT in ensuring contract reviews are conducted appropriately and support the management of the AP, AR, and banking teams. The role also includes overseeing the transaction team and identifying opportunities for automation projects.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Qualified by Experience accountant with strong systems skills and hands-on transactional knowledge.
What you'll get in return
This is a hybrid role for circa 6 months, 2 days in the office, 3 remote.
