We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Tax Trainee to join our client's expanding Tax department. This is an excellent opportunity for school leavers or recent graduates eager to build a rewarding career in tax. Key Responsibilities Personal Tax
  1. Preparing Personal Tax Returns varying in complexity, from R40 repayment claims to high-net-worth individuals, including company directors, self-employed individuals, and partners/partnerships.
  2. Processing tax returns for resident non-domiciled individuals.
  3. Handling non-resident landlord tax returns for individuals.
  4. Ad-hoc advisory work.
Corporate Tax
  1. Preparing computations and returns, including personal tax affairs of directors.
  2. Monitoring the corporation tax status of companies.
  3. Preparing and submitting P11Ds.
  4. Processing ATED returns/relief returns.
  5. Handling corporation tax returns for corporate non-resident landlords.
  6. Processing non-resident capital gains tax returns.
International Tax Aspects
  1. Handling tax returns for resident non-domiciled individuals.
  2. Processing non-resident landlord tax returns for individuals.
  3. Preparing corporation tax returns for corporate non-resident landlords.
  4. Processing non-resident capital gains tax returns.
  5. Managing ATED returns/relief returns.
Key Requirements
  1. Interested in a career in tax with a willingness to progress and develop tax knowledge.
  2. Commitment to undertaking ATT/CTA qualifications (study support package provided).
  3. Strong time management skills with the ability to work on multiple accounts simultaneously.
  4. Hardworking and motivated to learn and grow in your career.
