Tax Director

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tax Director / Senior Mixed Tax Manager with 7+ years' experience to join a well-established accountancy firm.

This role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £90,000 - £120,000.

As a Tax Director / Senior Mixed Tax Manager, you will manage a balanced portfolio of advisory and compliance work, specialising in both personal and corporate tax.

You will be responsible for:

1. Deliver expert tax advice tailored to the needs of high-net-worth individuals and owner-managed businesses.
2. Oversee the preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns, ensuring deadlines are met.
3. Advise clients on complex tax issues, ensuring compliance and identifying tax-saving opportunities.
4. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to offer integrated services to clients.
5. Lead and support a small team of junior tax staff, providing mentorship and fostering their professional growth.
6. Stay up to date with legislative changes and communicate relevant updates to clients.

What we are looking for:

1. Previously worked as a Mixed Tax Manager, Senior Tax Manager, Tax Director or in a similar role.
2. Possess 7+ years' experience in an accountancy practice.
3. ACCA, ACA, or CTA qualified (ATT qualifications may also be considered).
4. Background in managing and mentoring a small team of junior tax professionals.
5. Expertise in personal tax, with understanding of corporate tax.
