As a Team Lead Risk Management - Outsourcing Controlling (m/f/d) you will play a key role within the Risk Management Team in Augsburg, Berlin, Frankfurt am Main or Hamburg.
Your Responsibilities
As team leader Outsourcing Controlling within the department Risk Management for a German "Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft" ("KVG") of PATRIZIA, you will:
- be key to develop and implement the organization's outsourcing controlling program for the KVGs as part of the Risk Management framework while fulfilling the mission and strategic goals, and complying with AIFMD, KAGB, MiFID, DORA and other relevant regulations of the BaFin as well as other accreditation standards.
- own dedicated outsourcing controlling projects within risk management addressing for example new regulation, or the optimization of tools and processes and you will drive the implementation and roll-out within the risk management team and relevant parts of the wider organization.
- be key to further development of existing and new reports and the systems used.
- provide in-depth expertise to the Head of Risk Management Germany to identify potential risks and create strategies to minimize impact on the organization's operations.
- develop outsourcing monitoring controls and contingency plans to address identified risks and ensure the establishment of effective mitigation processes.
- support the business' implementation of effective controls.
- communicate outsourcing policies and processes to all stakeholders and provide training, as necessary, and drive the development and implementation of consistent best in class risk management policies and tools.
- liaise with auditors to carry out audits of the Outsourcing Controlling processes.
- Align with risk management and outsourcing controlling functions in group entities in other countries (UK, Luxembourg).
What we look for
- Excellent interpersonal & intercultural skills.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in risk management or outsourcing controlling in a regulated environment.
- Experience in creating and implementing risk management or outsourcing controlling policies and procedures.
- A strong background in the area of real assets such as real estate and infrastructure, in the regulated financial services industry with expert knowledge of risk management and outsourcing controlling practices and intimate understanding of relevant regulations is considered as an asset.
- In-depth experience in project work.
- Experience in the area of sustainability risks and the operational implementation of a relevant sustainability risk management framework is considered as an asset.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking / problem solving skills to predict and identify risks, develop strategies to combat them and execute those strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics to stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in the use of risk management software and a high IT affinity paired with very good MS Office, Power BI and similar skills are considered an asset.
- Good English skills.
- University degree or equivalent in a quantitative subject (Math, Physics, Economics, Finance or equivalent).
- Advanced academic background and / or professional certification such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or related designation is considered an asset.
