Technical Business Analyst (Murex)

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with in-depth knowledge of Murex Operations, settlements, and Swift for one of our clients in the financial sector. They are looking for someone to play a key role in a dynamic environment where Front-to-Back-to-Risk (FtBtR) processes are central.

Your Role

As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will operate at the intersection of technology and business. You will work within the Back Office and Front Office domains, analysing, improving, and implementing processes and systems that are critical to our financial operations.

This role involves guiding the transition of the Front Office and Back Office systems to Murex, ensuring seamless integration and optimization in the FtBtR landscape.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize Front-to-Back-to-Risk (FtBtR) processes with a focus on Murex Operations, settlements, and Swift.
• Lead the migration of functionalities to Murex, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Act as a bridge between business and IT, translating technical requirements into functional solutions.
• Develop detailed business and technical specifications.
• Manage stakeholders across both Back Office and Front Office environments.
• Identify risks and develop solutions to mitigate them during the migration and beyond.

Ideal Profile

• At least 5-7 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in a financial environment.
• Strong knowledge of Murex Operations, settlements, and Swift.
• Experience with Front-to-Back-to-Risk (FtBtR) processes and familiarity with both Back Office and Front Office systems.
• Proven experience in system migrations, particularly involving Murex or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with reconciliation tools and trading systems.
• Strong communication skills in both English (and Dutch is a plus).
