The Technical Operations Executive plays a key role in developing, testing, and debugging Rich Media advertising creatives. Their purpose is to ensure the smooth implementation and optimal performance of digital advertising campaigns. They utilise their expertise in the Google Marketing Platform, Amazon S3, HTML5 development, Figma, Photoshop tools, CSS, HTML, and basic JavaScript coding to deliver high-quality advertising experiences. This role focuses on compatibility, testing, debugging, and adherence to industry standards, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive campaign success. Acting as a liaison between the creative/production team and Ad Operations team, the role involves assisting with technical queries encompassing ad tech, tag management, dynamic creative strategies, reporting, and general ad serving questions. Key Responsibilities Management and Reports: 
- Manage and mentor front end developers in the production team, ensuring their professional growth and development.
- Confidently liaise with senior leadership and wider teams, demonstrating strategic insight and leadership.
- Motivate and inspire the production team to achieve key objectives and meet deadlines.
- Report to the Creative Director, providing support on key projects and tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop interactive advertising creatives using DoubleClick Studio, HTML5, CSS, and HTML.
- Optimise and prepare assets using Figma and Photoshop tools for digital advertising campaigns.
- Ensure compatibility across devices, browsers, and platforms.
- Implement tracking and measurement codes for accurate reporting.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of advertising creatives across various environments and platforms.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, such as broken links and rendering inconsistencies.
- Use debugging tools to troubleshoot coding, compatibility, and integration issues.
- Collaborate with teams to address technical challenges and implement solutions.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and standards.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and brand guidelines.
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback on adherence to coding conventions and optimisation techniques.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
- Document technical specifications and coding methodologies.
- Prepare reports on testing outcomes, issue resolutions, and performance optimisations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and recommendations.
- Prior experience in ad operations or a related technical role within the digital advertising industry.
- Proficient understanding of ad tech concepts, including ad serving, tag management, dynamic creative strategies, and reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of the Google Marketing Platform (including DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Display & Video 360, and Google Ad Manager) and proficiency in the programmatic ecosystem.
- Proficiency in developing HTML5 dynamic creatives using DoubleClick Studio and Google Web Designer.
- Familiarity with tag management systems (TMS) and experience in implementing and troubleshooting tags.
- Ability to design and build HTML5 creatives for prospecting and retargeting purposes.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to handle basic coding tasks and identify technical issues.
- Working knowledge of Adobe products, including Photoshop and Illustrator, for creative asset development.
- Proficiency in prototyping creative assets using Figma or similar design tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to assist with technical queries and provide effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both creative/production teams and ad operations teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with digital advertising metrics and reporting tools to analyse campaign performance and provide insights.
- Ability to stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to ad operations and digital advertising.
