Technical Project Manager M+C Saatchi World Services London

We are seeking a skilled technical project manager to join our UK based team to lead the design and implementation of a secure Microsoft 365 (M365) tenant to support our future business operations. This is a critical role requiring expertise in managing complex IT projects, stakeholder engagement, and compliance against multiple information security standards and frameworks.

This is a full-time role for an initial fixed contract of 12 months, based out of our London office, requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office. The technical project manager will report directly into the Global IT Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for the secure Microsoft 365 tenant, ensuring it meets security and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and project stakeholders to define and implement secure architecture and policies.
• Ensure adherence to information security guidelines for secure deployment.
• Work closely with technical teams to oversee Identity & Access Management (IAM), Information Protection, Conditional Access, and Secure Collaboration within M365.
• Manage project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Oversee testing, validation, and accreditation processes for the secure environment.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with compliance, data protection, and security.
• Drive successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.

ABOUT YOU

You will have proven experience managing IT security and infrastructure projects, particularly within highly regulated environments. You should possess a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security architecture, including Defender for Office 365, Purview Compliance, and Azure AD, along with expertise in ISO 27001, and other information security standards and frameworks. Hands-on experience delivering secure greenfield cloud solutions within highly regulated environments is essential, as well as proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities are required, along with experience managing third-party vendors, contracts, and procurement processes. Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile PM are highly desirable.

You'll bring with you (experience and qualifications):

• Proven experience managing IT security and infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security architecture, including Defender for Office 365, Purview Compliance, and Microsoft Entra.
• Experience with ISO 27001 and other standards and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience delivering secure cloud solutions within highly regulated environments.
• Excellent project management skills with expertise in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience managing third-party vendors, contracts, and procurement processes.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM).
