Technical Sales Specialist

Exciting opportunity to join an innovative, industry leading laboratory equipment manufacturer and distributor. Our client is a leading provider of analytical instruments in the UK with products ranging from sample preparation systems to elemental analysis instrumentation. This opportunity calls for an ambitious scientist looking to drive sales whilst providing excellent service to customers.
Laboratories throughout the UK may purchase systems without considering the full range of products on the market. Within this role, you will aim to support customers by identifying their key pain points and advising which products in your portfolio would best serve their requirements. Your position will focus on identifying customers in academic, CRO, biotech and pharma laboratories - providing them with a viable and helpful solution to ensure their research takes place in a safe environment with productive and reliable equipment.
The position focuses on account management as well as prospecting new customers. Proven experience within scientific sales is highly desirable. Travelling to customer sites is integral to the success of this position and expected travel is 60%.
Mandatory Requirements:- BSc (Bachelor of Science) minimum in Chemistry or related subject
- Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
- UK driver's license
