Als Technisch Facilitair Medewerker maak je deel uit van het Hard Services Maintenance Team. Je zorgt voor het soepel functioneren van onze gebouwen (kantoor en laboratorium) en technische installaties. Van HVAC- en elektrische systemen tot veiligheidscontroles en kleine reparaties: jouw werk draagt bij aan een veilige, efficiënte en goed functionerende omgeving, wat uiteindelijk de levens van kankerpatiënten verbetert.
Je werkt in een dynamische omgeving waar geen enkele dag hetzelfde is. Als je houdt van technische uitdagingen, het oplossen van problemen en het draaiende houden van de operaties, dan is dit misschien wel een mooie nieuwe kans voor jou!
Let op: dit is een fulltime functie die op locatie in onze kantoren in Utrecht wordt uitgevoerd.
Verantwoordelijkheden
Technisch en structureel onderhoud uitvoeren om onze twee kantoorgebouwen en laboratoria operationeel en veilig te houden.
Storingen in technische installaties opsporen en verhelpen.
Serviceverzoeken registreren en verwerken in facility management systemen.
Veiligheids- en nalevingscontroles uitvoeren, waaronder legionellacontroles.
Externe technici begeleiden en onderhoudsprojecten ondersteunen.
Gereedschappen, materialen en voorraden voor reparaties en onderhoud beheren.
Faciliteit gerelateerde projecten, interne verhuizingen en het opzetten van evenementen ondersteunen.
Beschikbaar zijn voor storingsdienst: deelnemen aan het storingsdienstteam buiten reguliere werktijden.
Vereisten
MBO-opleiding in een technische richting.
VCA VOL-certificering.
Minimaal 2 jaar relevante werkervaring.
Ervaring in een laboratoriumomgeving heeft de voorkeur.
Ervaring in facilitaire of technische ondersteuning.
Sterke probleemoplossende vaardigheden en een hands-on mentaliteit.
Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
Kennis van MS Office en facility management tools.
Role
As a Facility Operations Technician, you will be part of the Hard Services Maintenance Team, ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings (office and laboratory) and technical installations. From HVAC and electrical systems to safety checks and minor repairs, your work helps maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment, ultimately contributing to improving the lives of cancer patients.

Please note that this is a full-time, onsite role at our Utrecht offices.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical and structural maintenance to keep our two office building and labs operational and safe.
- Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions in technical installations.
- Log and process service requests in facility management systems.
- Conduct safety and compliance checks, including legionella inspections.
- Supervise external technicians and support maintenance projects.
- Manage tools, materials, and stock for repairs and maintenance.
- Support facility-related projects, internal moves, and event setups.
- On call duty: takes part in the on-call duty team outside regular working hours.
Requirements
- MBO-level education in a technical field.
- VCA VOL certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.
- Experience in facility or technical support.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mindset.
- Good command of Dutch & English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of MS Office and facility management tools.
- You must be eligible to work in the Netherlands; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
