JOB TITLE: Technology & Enablement Manager - Digital Engagement

LOCATION(S): London, Leeds, Halifax, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh, Chester

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time at an office hub.

Digital Engagement is at the heart of serving and supporting our customers and accountable for running and transforming our digital channels and owning the design authority for our digital assets.

As a Technology & Enablement Manager, you'll be at the forefront of designing how we show up for customers that will be both transformational to customers, colleagues, and our business. You will drive end-to-end strategy, architecture, and data optimisation of our digital applications.

This role requires an understanding of how digital applications function, how they integrate with other systems, digital experience platforms like Adobe and how data flows across platforms to create seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Uncover opportunities for innovation, like emerging mobile technologies, experiences powered by AI, and solutions across different platforms.
  2. Work on a range of complex initiatives to better support our customers and colleagues requiring the ability to communicate ideas, distil complex problems into digestible content that effectively communicates key messages and insights, using a variety of mediums such as presentations, videos, prototypes and visualisations.
  3. Collaborate across the whole business and with all levels to define strategies that align with business goals, enhance system scalability, optimise data-driven decision-making, make informed decisions, generate new ideas to deliver increased value and work to create a competitive edge.
  4. Explain and prioritise problems and their possible solutions with colleagues and other stakeholders, confronting difficult conversations as required. Take action to define, plan and implement the best solution.
What you'll need:
  1. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. Understanding of mobile app architecture, backend systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  3. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Target, and Adobe Analytics.
  4. Experience with API design, microservices, and mobile-first data architectures.
  5. Knowledge of mobile analytics tools and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI).
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Exceptional storytelling abilities, with a track record of translating complex technical concepts into engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
