Job Description

Delta Capita is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to undertake a Delivery Lead role within one of our closest, Tier 1 Investment Bank clients, principally to support the delivery of a Risk and Controls programme.

The successful candidate will have domain expertise in Technology Risk Management and Service Management.


Candidates must be self-motivated and willing to learn in their own time. It is expected that they will also be required to:

  1. Understand and translate programme objectives into executable work packages.
  2. Be ambitious about achieving the highest standards of delivery and engineering.
  3. Authentically engage with teams, colleagues, and business partners to deliver at pace.
  4. Demonstrate strong communication skills, influencing, and negotiation.
  5. Have experience of working with teams and contacts in a global setting.
  6. Have a proven track record in technology leadership, delivering complex, cross-region, cross-function global initiatives.
  7. Understand and motivate engineering teams.
  8. Monitor key control indicators (KCIs) to track the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts.
  9. Manage and monitor initiatives to enhance or remediate controls in a sustainable manner to provide enduring outcomes for the organisation.
  10. Have a deep and broad understanding of resilience with associated continuous improvement approaches.

Relevant Experience:

  1. Track record of delivering sustainable outcomes in an enterprise-scale organisation.
  2. Experience in technology service management, with a track record of successfully implementing and enhancing control frameworks.
  3. Deep understanding of control operation, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  4. Proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate and assess complex technology landscapes preferred.
  6. Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully leading large-scale initiatives preferred.
  7. Understanding of technology infrastructure, including Public Cloud and legacy technologies as used in a global financial organization, preferred.

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client's offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client's policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires.
