We're seeking a Risk Officer to join our IT Asset Management (ITAM) Risk function to support the Senior Risk Officer in identifying, assessing, managing and reporting ITAM risks and Issues across the firm. The role and function sits within the first line of defence of the Firm's Technology Risk Management framework.

This is a Technology Risk and Controls position which is part of the job family responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure operational continuity and resilience in the face of potential threats or disruptions that could impact the organization, plus management of ongoing incidents.

What You'll Do:

• Assist Senior Risk Officer to identify potential IT Asset Management (ITAM) related risks and analyse the likelihood and potential impact
• Partner with ITAM controls team to have an in-depth understanding ITAM controls framework
• Liaise with cross functional teams to identify ITAM related Issues, assess risk, and document action plans
• Liaise with risk assessment teams across the three lines of defence to understand their testing objectives, scope and ITAM control testing results
• Work with delivery teams to prioritise risk remediation deliverables, track progress, report status and dependencies to wider stakeholders, escalating where appropriate
• Assist in analysing and interpreting ITAM risks and Issues to identify any underlying themes and/or trends
• Prepare risk management reports for various risk committees and forums to communicate ITAM risk posture through various lenses

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Risk Management or a related field or equivalent experience
• Experience with technology controls program and risk domains eg IT Asset Management, Data Security, Incident Management
• Experience in identifying, assessing and reporting risks and Issues
• Extremely well organised with ability to track many moving parts and manage competing priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detailed orientated with strong appreciation of data quality and integrity
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office with strong skills in data manipulation using Excel and data visualisation via PowerPoint
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with strong influencing skills
• Good communication skills - written and verbal
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of risk management
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk

Even Better If You Have:

• Technology risk/control qualifications (eg ISACA, IRM, etc)
• Experience in identifying, designing and implementing automated processes to support team objectives
• Experience in building, enhancing and/or maintaining PowerBI dashboards
