Job Description

We're looking for a Tender Support Analyst to join us in our office at Nexus, Leeds.

Reporting to the Head of Tender Management, this role will deliver administrative aspects of the Tender Management function, covering creation and maintenance of tender bid responses, pricing templates and the tender content.

Your Role:

  1. Bid Preparation and Submission: Ensure that all tender documents are accurately prepared and submitted on time.
  2. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify potential opportunities for cost savings and optimisation.
  3. Data Analysis: Analyse commercial bids and utilise client data to support decision-making processes and provide cost saving analysis for tender submission.
  4. Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the tender process are aligned with the organisation's objectives, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, development / product teams and support functions such as finance and HR.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the tendering process and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What You'll Need:

  1. Proven experience in similar role.
  2. Experience of developing proposals in a variety of formats.
  3. Proven IT Skills - Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
  4. Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and react to change quickly and positively and meet deadlines and attention to detail.
  5. Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI, or similar.
  6. Understanding of the supply chain industry - desirable.
