Test Automation Specialist

We are looking for a test automation engineer across the insurance industry to help our client with their fast-evolving and fast-growing business functions and internalized developments.

It is the medium and long-term objective of the company to establish a strong in-house development and testing capacity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, develop and ship new features for our web applications :

• Follow software development and review processes
• Implement e2e-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Analyze and report about sustainability and performance.

Required experience:

• 2+ years of Test Driven Development, End-to-End and Integration Testing experience;
• Solid technical knowledge in JavaScript, Python, XML;
• Knowledge and/or experience with the following technologies: HTML5, CSS3, HTTP, REST, JSON, SQL, Git;
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and effective verbal communication skills;
• Proactive attitude towards improving processes and finding new solutions to challenging business problems;
• You are creative, solution-oriented and enjoy working within a multi-disciplinary team;
• You are able to plan and coordinate your work;

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Odoo framework;
• Knowledge and/or experience with Gitlab CI/CD;
• Experience in Agile principles (Agile Manifesto) and Scrum principles;

You can express yourself in one of the national languages (Dutch/French) and in English.
