Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Tower Construction Manager to oversee the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of telecommunications towers. The role requires strong technical expertise and project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high safety and quality standards.


Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Design:

  • Conduct site surveys to assess location and environmental conditions.
  • Review stability studies to ensure structural integrity.
  • Ensure tower designs meet industry standards and regulations.

2. Construction Management:

  • Supervise tower construction to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery.
  • Conduct quality checks to confirm materials and processes meet specifications.
  • Enforce site safety protocols and manage contractors.

3. Technical Supervision:

  • Oversee foundation work and structural assembly.
  • Manage installation and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure proper installation of telecommunications equipment.

4. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  • Schedule and perform routine tower inspections.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and structural issues.
  • Manage tower upgrades and capacity enhancements.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain daily logs and progress reports.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior management.
  • Ensure accurate as-built documentation is maintained.

6. Communication & Coordination:

  • Act as the main contact for stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

7. Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with local and international standards.
  • Conduct safety audits and address identified risks.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge of construction and telecommunications.
  • Proven project management skills with budget and resource management experience.
  • Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in tower construction or a similar field.
  • Experience in the telecommunications or construction industry preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
