Job Description

Job Title: Training Delivery Lead

Location: Warton. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £54,793 + depending on experience

What you'll be doing:

The Training Delivery Lead will lead the development and delivery of a dynamic training curriculum that will upskill hundreds of engineers in the latest technologies and tools. This is a high-impact, strategic role, where you'll collaborate with an internal training agency to design tailored training solutions and ensure seamless delivery across the organisation.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  1. To develop a future-focused training curriculum to equip engineers with the latest technical skills and innovations
  2. To collaborate with an internal training agency to design, refine, and implement engaging training materials
  3. To manage the end-to-end delivery of training programmes, ensuring smooth roll-out and high engagement across engineering teams
  4. Measure training effectiveness, gathering feedback, and continuously improving learning experiences
  5. To build strong relationships with engineering leaders and stakeholders to align training with business & delivery needs

Your skills and experiences:

  1. Proven experience in training programme design and delivery within an engineering or technical environment
  2. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training rollouts efficiently
  3. Experience working with internal or external training providers to create impactful learning solutions
  4. Passion for technology and innovation, with a strong understanding of engineering tools and methodologies
  5. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

The Training team:

A training academy is being established in the AVC Functional Software Team to upskill the existing team and bring new starts up to the required level of knowledge and skills to efficiently execute the AVC FS programme.

The training programme has been developed in conjunction with the Global Digital Academy (GDA) who will provide the training as a service to the project.

The purpose of the Training Delivery Lead is to work with the GDA and project line managers, to manage all the activities within the project that are required to ensure that training programme runs smoothly and efficiently.
