Training Manager
Whitehall Resources require a Training Manager to work with a key client on an initial 6-month contract.
*Outside IR35.
*This role will involve on site work in Luton 3 days per week.

Job Description
In this role you will be reporting to the Project Training Lead and will be working closely with the training team. You will also be working closely with the Workstream Leads (Design, Technology, Data, Testing, Business Change, Deployment and Project Management) to be able to deliver required training activities to the impacted end users based on a phased deployment approach including three end user training cycles. You will be the bridge between the Programme and the business and a key part of the central project team that will be deploying the Training. The project will impact around 3500 users across the globe and each user should be trained in the new solution within a short time frame. The role is global and requires working across different time zones but will be predominantly within the Europe time zone.
Typical Accountabilities
. Work closely with the Training lead, Training Managers, Co-ordinators to lead specific Project training activities such as developing and finalising EUT training materials, e-learnings.
. Support and/or lead the scheduling of training sessions and closely monitoring end user training completion statistics during the end user training execution phases (3 end user training windows between March and August 2025).
. Update training material as required between deployment phases and prior to Transition to BAU
. Identify end user training requirements and support the development of training programs by maintaining and updating the TNA as appropriate.
. Lead planning and delivery of specific training activities in order to ensure that they are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with policies and standards
. Monitoring trainee participation for mandatory training and report statistics to Training Lead and LT to ensure readiness criterias are met.
. Support Super Users to get ready to deliver training drop in sessions
. Liaise with BAU leads to develop and implement training, development and succession plans that are appropriate for their business needs and consistent with the Training strategy
. Work across time zones/key stakeholders are located across the globe and core project team mainly based in Europe.
Essential skills and experience:
. Experience of planning and delivering training in a large complex transformation project resulting in significant change to the end users circa 3500
. Project management certification or experience from working in waterfall or agile projects
. Experience from E-learning tools to develop e-learnings - Articulate/Storyline/RISE and Vyond.
. Experience from working with Global Learning Management systems- Cornerstone/Degreed would be advantageous
. Experience of delivering - co- ordinating training for large scale transformation projects in L&D
. Experience of working with stakeholders across functions and geographies and managing them effectively
. Skilled in using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint and Power BI reports/Power Automate

. Excellent team working, networking and influencing skills to develop solutions

Desirable skills and experience
. Business or Accounting degree
. Project management certification or experience from working in waterfall or agile projects
. Experience of Learning Management System (LMS) tools
. Experience in managing business change
. Finance background
