Transaction Actuary - 28322

Seasoned P&C Insurance Actuary will assess actuarial aspects of transaction targets globally for the M&A Transaction team and wider business.

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

• Provide actuarial expertise for pricing perspective Company acquisitions within the M&A Transaction team.
• Day-to-day management of the reserving review for transactions, including some of the larger or complex ones.
• Deliver high-quality assessments of reserve margin (positive or negative) and other actuarial indications after digesting voluminous amounts of diverse information under tight timeframes.
• Identification and efficient communication of results. Keen commercial acumen in advising the Company on benefits and risks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Qualified P&C Actuary with at least seven years of experience with a heavy concentration in loss reserving.
• Broad technical loss reserving experience with exposure to many lines of business, reinsurance levels, country-specific exposures, and regulatory environments.
• Knowledge of many different lines of business, including long-tailed lines, Asbestos/Environmental, Workers Compensation, Construction Defect, Liability, Excess Covers, and Reinsurances.
• Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, transaction, and consulting work is beneficial.
