Turnover / Commissioning Manager - London
Fantastic opportunity for a Turnover / Commissioning Manager to join the Life Science Team in London.
Reporting to the Regional Director/Regional MEP Lead, the Turnover Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating all turnover activities within the project lifecycle.
This role ensures a seamless transition from construction to commissioning and final handover to operations, maintaining compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and client requirements.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a structured turnover plan, including systems and subsystems division.
- Manage and coordinate turnover packages, ensuring all documentation, punch lists, and quality records are complete and accurate.
- Oversee the process of turnover from construction to commissioning, including system handover walkdowns.
- Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, quality assurance, commissioning teams, and client representatives to ensure alignment on turnover requirements and milestones.
- Act as the primary liaison between project teams and client representatives during turnover activities.
- Ensure all turnover documentation, including inspection records, test results, and punch list items, are properly compiled, reviewed, and approved.
- Drive the resolution of punch list items to ensure readiness for system handover.
- Maintain turnover logs, status reports, and dashboards to communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience.
- Experience in GMP Type Facility Cx and Turnover Experience.
- Experience in turnover, construction, or commissioning roles within large-scale industrial, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in managing system turnovers and handovers.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
