UKIA Cyber Resilience Strategy Lead

Location: United Kingdom (London, Manchester, Edinburgh)

Please Note: Due to the nature of client work you will be undertaking, you will need to be willing to go through a Security Clearance process as part of this role, which requires 5+ years UK address history at the point of application.

As a Cyber Resilience Manager/Senior Manager you will:

As part of our industry leading team, our Cyber Resilience Strategy team draws on their previous experience to devise, tailor, assess and review cyber resilience strategies that best meet a client's specific needs, within given timescales, budget, and the client's risk appetite - understanding that one-size-fits-all solutions are not appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

This is a mid-senior role with responsibility for business development, client delivery management and team oversight and development. The successful candidate will be required to participate in the Senior Leadership Team of the UKIA Cyber Strategy practice.

  • Lead a team of Resilience Subject Matter Experts and delivery managers in the pursuit and delivery of Cyber Resilience Strategy engagements

  • Drive go-to-market activity, working with industry teams and client engagement leads to define solutions which align to sector specific requirements (eg regulations, external drivers and risk profile)

  • Work with other teams within Accenture to maximise effectiveness and enable solving other client challenges

  • Provide expert advice and analysis based on key concepts in Cyber resilience, operational resilience, Business Continuity Management and Disaster recovery.

  • Engage on multiple cyber resilience projects, supporting Subject Matter Experts on defining requirements and delivering solutions.

  • Ensure project deliverables are completed to time and to budget

  • Support the Cyber Strategy Leadership Team through design and scoping complex and bespoke engagements, identifying the dependencies and critical paths

  • Support own technical development (e.g. through service development or research) and contribute to company technical processes overall

  • Maintain relevant professional certifications and contribute to industry bodies as appropriate

The following skills and experience are essential for this role:

  • Experience of 'go-to-market' approaches and stakeholder management

  • Team management and development

  • Working as part of a collegiate, collaborative team

  • Knowledge of techniques for identifying and implementing operational and cyber resilience approaches, necessary for complex business resilience.

  • Knowledge of describing and communicating cyber risk to C-suite audiences

  • Experience of Cyber Resilience, Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Management, and Disaster Recovery regulations, methodologies, challenges and techniques

  • Business and Technical Analysis techniques and methodologies

  • Experience of project work and working in diverse teams - experience of working in client teams essential

  • Knowledge of the techniques for and challenges of the delivery of cyber resilience projects

  • Willingness to travel, in the UK, to wherever our clients operate.

  • Willingness to work at client sites, occasionally for extended periods

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to adjust to rapidly changing requirements

  • Ability to listen and interpret client needs, interpret and capture specific requirements, mapping these to Accenture services

  • Analytical mind-set and approach

  • Able to clearly communicate the value of cyber security controls in reducing risk at all levels.

  • Knowledge of architecting and designing coherent security solutions

Set yourself apart:

  • Previous client facing experience

  • Previous team management experience

  • Previous experience of operating successfully within a multinational consulting organisation (eg: Big 4)

  • Experience of commercial and business management techniques and budget management

  • Previous experience of devising cyber resilience strategies for major organisations

  • Degree level education or equivalent

  • Project management experience (waterfall and/or agile)
