This employer is an established group of UK companies that both manufacture and distribute a vast array of 30,000 + electrical and electronic products and components to over 50 countries worldwide. Working with electrical distribution, wholesale, and the OEM sector on a branded and white label basis, this employer is in an exciting phase of its future growth.

The Opportunity

This is a business development role with hundreds of active accounts across the Midlands and South of England. Due to recent mergers and acquisitions, the customer solution has strengthened and become much broader, providing superb opportunities to achieve growth through cross-selling other product lines into these active customers and increasing the value of the accounts. This is warm business development focused on the distribution market.

The Desired Applicant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and positive sales professional who is confident in their ability to business develop and engage with clients and grow accounts across a wide territory. You will be experienced within the electrical sector, whether in electrical wholesale, with a manufacturer, or within distribution, and you will understand the sector. This role involves selling at the group level to operations directors, buying directors, and managing directors, focusing on contractual discussions, pricing, and call-offs. We welcome applications from existing business development professionals and driven internal sales professionals from within the sector who are eager for advancement and career growth. This role would ideally suit a "can do" candidate who is not daunted by managing numerous customer accounts and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
