At Rock.estate, we're redefining how real estate valuations are done. Our remote-first team blends the power of machine learning with human expertise to deliver fast, accurate property insights. We've built tools that turn traditionally analog processes into seamless digital experiences and we're just getting started. To help us take things even further, we're looking for a talented UX Engineer to join our Product Tribe.
What you'll do
As a UX Engineer, you'll play a key role in crafting intuitive and consistent user experiences across all our applications. Working closely with front-end developers, the Product Manager, and UI Designer, you'll own the user journey from research to implementation.
Your responsibilities will include:
User Research & Analysis
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and behavioral analysis
- Translate insights into meaningful product improvements
User Experience Design
- Design wireframes for both ideal and edge-case user flows
- Apply UX best practices and define user interactions
- Prototype new features in close collaboration with the product and design teams
- Work comfortably with front-end UI/CSS frameworks
Usability & Accessibility Audits
- Evaluate accessibility and responsive design across products
- Identify friction points and propose UX improvements
What you bring
You might be the perfect fit if you:
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
- Understand and apply user-centered design principles
- Have experience as a UX Engineer or in a similar role
- Communicate clearly and effectively
- Approach challenges with critical thinking and a solution-oriented mindset
- Are fluent in English (Dutch or French is a bonus)
- Are proficient in Figma
- Have a working knowledge of CSS (a strong plus)
