We are seeking a Senior VAT Consultant to play a key role in our tax function, serving as the main point of contact for indirect tax matters across EMEA. This role involves providing VAT guidance to internal teams, managing compliance and audits, supporting intercompany transactions, and working on VAT process improvements. The ideal candidate will collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams, ensuring accurate reporting, timely filings, and effective communication of VAT risks.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for all indirect tax matters across EMEA.
• Provide VAT guidance to internal teams, ensuring compliance and managing risks.
• Support VAT audits, tax authority inquiries, and liaise with external advisors.
• Advise on VAT treatment for intercompany transactions.
• Oversee VAT reporting, reconciliation, and compliance cycles.
• Manage the CIS process, including data review and return submissions.
• Conduct VAT training for finance, AP, and AR teams.
• Collaborate on VAT process improvements and technology projects.
• Maintain VAT registrations, codes, and system updates.
• Assist with VAT payments, refunds, and approvals.
