Vivid Resourcing - Senior Software Engineer

We're working with a leading and consistently growing healthcare company in Central Brussels who are building an application designed to improve physical and mental well-being in the workplace, aiming to improve employee health and productivity.

Together we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join their team - you should be experienced and confident working with Node.js, TypeScript and React on a daily basis and also be motivated to progress to a Team Lead in the near future.

Responsibilities

• Primarily develop efficient back-end systems using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Enhance the front-end and collaborate daily with React Developers.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure high performance of the application.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and provide mentorship to junior team members.

Your profile

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong focus on back-end development using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of or experience with React, next.js, and Nest.JS would be a plus.
• Familiarity with modern development practices, including Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of building secure and maintainable applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with others.
